My Film Job
The job I would like to do, would be an actor or a casting director. I think that when it comes to acting I can do an ok job, because when I'm around my friends I can be loud and a little outgoing so I won't be so camera shy. If i am not doing acting I would like to watch other people act and ensure that the people acting our movie is someone who can actually do the job right. I think I would be good for this position, because I can judge somebody's acting very well and since it is our group I will know what to expect from and what is required from the actors. I might also like to do the music supervision, because although it doesn't sound like such a big role, it is one of the most important ones, in my opinion. As the film "How to Disappear Completely" shows the song, it brings so much more emotion into the movie.

My Review on The Elephant Man
The movie was so well thought out, I really enjoyed it, and
because it’s not like most movies we see today that all have one happy ending.
The conflict of the story was ongoing throughout the whole movie and although
it was a sad movie it was interesting and left us wanting to know what was
going to happen next. It was such a sad movie that had us thinking why would
John Merrick want to kill himself after he had finally obtained happiness and
once he was finally socially accepted in a humane way. What I found most
interesting was that it was based on a true story, according to Dr. Frederick
Treves’ writings. The movie has a much deeper meaning to it that many of us
probably would have never caught. David lynch had such a unique way of presenting
religion to us. Through out the whole movie he was giving us a message.

My name is John Merrick
Today was such a memorable day. Ms. Kendall invited all of
us in the hospital to go watch a musical play she composed. I had a great time,
because I have always been interested in these types of musical plays. I have
never been able to attend because no one has ever tried to be my friend and I have
never been invited anywhere. I am so grateful for this once in a lifetime
opportunity everything was so beautiful the actors were dancing everywhere, the
music was so loud and lively. I really enjoyed the costume designs and all the thought put in to it.

Welcome to my Nightmare
My biggest fear would have to be dying at a young age. It's something
that scares me, because I wouldn't be prepared. My parents wouldn’t be prepared
because I’m going to be young and I know it would be hard on them. I would also
love to be able to live to a much older age to able to get everything I’ve
always wanted. I would hate to die knowing that I’ve spent most of my life in
school and never been able to travel which has always been my life goal. I’d
like to know what it feels like to have kids of my own, a family of my own, and
life of my own. I would also like to repay everyone for what they have done for
me before we’re all gone, especially my parents. I’m also scared knowing that
there might be something waiting for us once we are dead.

Compassionate Science
I believe that in order to live up to Mike Ebeling's goals we must have
compassion for people whom we've never even met in our lives. We must also
be committed like he was, to go around the world to help people he didn’t know.
In school we have learned many things but none of which can help us change the
world. We have not been taught that in order to make this world a better place
we must help one another. Mike helped all these people with the use of
technology, we’ve learned the basic ways of using a computer but nothing up to
Mike’s extend. I think that as students in this school we aren’t prepared to
make such a change like Mike did. If we are really committed to what we want to
do we must learn ourselves and teach ourselves what we want to do.

The Future
I think the future 100 years from will be almost
perfect. There will be so many smarter people and the world is going to be so
competitive. Each day people will be inventing new things and of course
technology will be really far advanced. Besides there being smart people, there
will be lazy people and the overweight population will increase by a lot
because technology will do everything for us and we won’t have to move a
finger. People will be creating their own species and other people will be
modifying themselves. I think that in the future everyone will be having
plastic surgeries. Right now some people have them and they are acceptable in
society and by that time they’ll be so advanced that everyone will want some.
There will also be different kinds of crazy foods and maybe also new species of
animals who crossed with different ones.

One time I laughed really really loud
I can’t think of one specific time when I laughed up to the point where
soda comes out of my nose. I’ve had so many moments with my friends where we
laugh for no good reason and it is hard for us to stop laughing because if one
person says something someone else comes into the conversation and says
something else and it continues until we are just laughing. Every time we go
out to public places there are people staring at us because we can’t keep calm.
Most of the time it is when we are making fun of each other and we just keep
going at it.

Modern Times
I really enjoyed the movie Modern Times, because it was different from
all the other movies I have seen before. I have never seen a silent movie
because I always thought they would be boring. The way that Charlie worked very
hard to make every single part of his movie also makes you appreciate the movie
even more. I like how most of the movie was based off comedy, with a
little bit of romance. Even though it was a silent movie he didn’t lose the
audience because he really knows how to keep us interested. We can all relate
to this movie because just like Charlie and the factory workers, we all have to
work day by day to make our living and buy what we want. At that time other
people related to the film, because he showed actual events that were occurring
at that time.

My Thoughts on Bullying
I have never witnessed bullying happening, but I have heard many events where it has gotten out of hand. The victim ends up doing something crazy because they can't stop what has been happening to them. The victim might be too scared to fight against their aggressor, but they have no other way to end with their problems. In our community, we sometimes hear of bullying happening, but it never gets to such extend, so for us bullying isn't much of a problem. It doesn't seem like such a serious problem, unless there are threats along with the bullying. You can avoid the bullying if you just learn to avoid the bully himself. I think that usually the people whom are getting bullied, often don't look for the help they are supposed to be getting. Sometimes they are too scared to confront their problem, or embarrassed to ask for help, bullying can be prevented.

My Favorite Movie
My favorite movie is The Family. It is different from most
movies out there that usually have a happy ending or are usually full of
romance. It is not only based on one genre, it has a variety it has a little
bit of romance, some comedy, lots of action and drama. This movie starts off
with a nice normal looking family and their dog but as the movie continues,
they show how the family has lived all these years and how they are not so
normal after all. It shows their background information and their struggle of
being in the witness protection program and being involved with the mob. It
shows different sides of the story and it also shows the point of view of the
bad mobsters. I also enjoy how at the end of the movie there is lots of action
involved and they defeat the bad people.
